Time 11:42AM - According to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the government wants to establish a national digital library for kids and teenagers to make up for the learning loss caused by the pandemic.

Time 11:45AM - Railways would get a capital outlay of Rs 2.4 lakh crore, the biggest amount ever since 2013–14. 

Time 11:47AM - Green Growth is a top priority. 19700 crores were spent on Green Growth. Priority Capital Investment: 35000 crores. Attempt to achieve carbon neutrality by 2070. Program for Green Credits to be informed.

Time 11:55AM - 157 nursing college to be built across the country.

Time 12:00PM - There will be 30 Skill India International Centers built nationwide under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0.

Time 12:05PM - The highest deposit amount for the Mahila Samman Savings Certificate is Rs 2 lakh, with 7.5 percent interest.

Time 12:10PM -Gold, Silver and Diamonds to be costlier.

Time 12:15PM -The income rebate ceiling has been raised from Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 7 lakh.

Time 12:20PM - A person with a yearly salary of 9 lakh will only have to pay 45 k in taxes.

0 to Rs 3 lakh - nil, 

Rs 3 to 6 lakh - 5%, 

Rs 6 to 9 Lakh - 10%, 

Rs 9 to 12 Lakh - 15%, 

Rs 12 to 15 Lakh - 20%,

Above 15 Lakh - 30%

On February 1st, 2023 at 11:00AM, Srimati Nirmala Sitharaman would deliver the budget from the new Lok Sabha House, she continued. Beginning on January 31, the budget session is anticipated to go through April 6, with a break between February 14 and March 12.

The budget is written by the Ministry of Finance in coordination with NITI Aayog and other departments.
