Road Safety Cell, Ministry of Roads Transport and Highways published a letter to All Principal Secretary/Secretary/Commissioner (Transport) Department of Transport All States/UTs on 22nd December 2021 regarding the Scheme/Guidelines for proposals for setting up of Institute of Driving Training & Research (IDTRs), Regional Driving Training Centers (RDTCs) and Driving Training Centers(DTCs) during 15" Finance Commission Cycle. Driving Training Schools(DTS) -
The government may employ awareness, education, and training as strategies to reduce traffic accidents. We all need to take action to reduce the number of fatalities in traffic accidents since we are aware of how severe this issue is. Various programs are occasionally being implemented by the central government and state governments to lower the number of people who die in traffic accidents. The fatality rate from traffic accidents is where India ranks extremely critically. MORTH is making a lot of effort to cut it. Lack of training and knowledge among drivers is a major factor in India's highest rate of fatal traffic accidents. A brilliant government idea in our country is the opening of DTS in every district, where everyone seeking a driving license will first need to complete instruction.
Driving Training Schools Bihar -Under this programs, the Government of Bihar's Transport Department has released a notification to enable Driving Training Schools in each district. Anyone who fits the requirements may submit an application. The applicant(Individual or Firm) would receive a 50% subsidy when they start a driving school in any district of Bihar.
