A very good initiative of Government of Bihar, A notification for Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities(Divyangjan) under Social Welfare Department has been published with the vision to help Divyangjan who are unable to walk properly.
Mukhyamantri Divyangjan Sasaktikaran Yojna - A scheme dedicated to all the Divyangjan of Bihar. Under this scheme, a battery operated tricycle will be distributed to all the Divyangjan of Bihar, Beneficiaries must be a permanent residence of state Bihar. There are two category of beneficiaries who can get the benefits of this scheme.
1. For Students -
Divyangjan students whose college or universities is 3KM or more away from their home are eligible to get a Free battery operated tricycle.
2. For Employee
Divyangjan other then students who are either self employed or employed somewhere away from their home 3KM or more are eligible to get a Free battery operated tricycle.
This battery operated Tricycle will be distributed FREE of cost. To make this scheme more transparent so that maximum Divyangjan can get help from this scheme, Online Application Submission portal has been implemented, Interested and eligible Divyangjan must apply online using the link attached below -
Guideline to Apply online for Free battery operated tricycle - It is recommended to all Divyangjan please read important instructions before filling the online application. Online application portal has been started from 8th July 2022. Filling the application form will consist of following subsequent steps:-

Step 2:- Personal DetailsStep 3:- Upload Photo & Signature
Step 4:- Upload Documents
Step 5:- Finalize and submit application
First of all Divyangjan are supposed to register themselves using the link mentioned above. Application ID will be generated after final submission. Only finally submitted application will be considered. Right now last date for the application of battery operated tricycle has not been announced. We will advise you all to apply online as soon as possible.
