After two successful recruitments, the Excise & Prohibition Department's Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has released another notice addressing the online application for the position of Prohibition Constable on 12th November 2022. Of the month of May 2022, the 365 Prohibition Constables in the Prohibition Department successfully fulfilled their assignments. Additionally, there was a second round of hiring when 76 applicants were chosen for the position. For the third time, there is a significant opening for a 689 Prohibition Constable to be posted across Bihar. Online applications are accepted from any qualified applicants in India. Prior to a few years ago, alcohol was outlawed in the state of Bihar, and the state government has been working hard to enforce this restriction.
Eligibility Criteria for Prohibition Constable -
Must be an Indian
Must be Intermediate(10+2) passed out
Minimum age required -18 years, Maximum - 25, 30 for SC/ST
Must qualify the physical fitness required criteria
Selection Process for Prohibition Constable -
1. Written Test
After submitting online application, all the applicants who don't disqualify during application process are required to attend a Two hours Written Test of 100 Marks Question based on Bihar Board Class 10th Syllabus or Equivalents.
2. Physical Fitness Test
It'll be measured on various parameters. Like high jump, long jump and many other fitness test procedure.
